About the Band

“Toybox” is a five-piece, high-energy, variety rock-n-roll band based out of Cumberland , Wisconsin . Our passion is performing and entertaining audiences of any size. “Toybox” has become one of the Midwest 's most popular and fastest growing cover bands. We are continually gaining a fan base that is untouchable by any band. “Toybox” has many years of combined performing experience. One thing that sets us apart from most bands is that we feature both a female lead singer and a male lead singer.

“Toybox” features one of the widest varieties of music playing: Popular Rock, Country, Disco, Rap, Classic Rock and Hard Rock. We've tried to pick the biggest, most popular danceable hits from the '50's all the way to today's hits. You can't stay off the dance floor for long.

"Toybox" appeals to every age - the perfect band for any occasion. "Toybox" has played many bars, benefits, festivals, proms, weddings and private parties all over Wisconsin and Minnesota . We've shared the stage with such national acts as: REO Speedwagon, Foghat, Peter Frampton, Night Ranger, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Eddie Money, 38 Special, The Guess Who, The Classic Rock All-Stars, Lou Gramm (of Foreigner) and Paul Rogers (of Bad Company).

"Toybox" prides themselves for having the largest visual show, that is continually growing. A "Toybox" show can be compared to a circus meets funhouse. The stage is transformed into an incredible party atmosphere. We use many lights in our shows including: par cans, Christmas lights, strobe lights, pin spots, tube lights, crowd lights, Intelligent Lighting, black lights and motorized moving lights. We bring: snow machines, bubble machines, toilet paper guns, fog machines, beach balls, silly string, balloons, trampolines and we throw out Mardi Gras beads. We have giant 12-foot high tubing framework that goes up on stage holding lights, specialty machines and our 12 foot "Toybox" sign that rotates all the letters by motor. The stage is covered with giant toy blocks, motorized jack in the boxes and streamers. We also bring confetti guns, confetti canons, fire, explosions and much more pyro. Obviously, a show of this size won’t fit at every venue or on every stage. So we adjust our show to whatever fits or whatever you want.
